Hello! My name is Alisson Rodrigues. I have an undergraduate degree from Kean University in Psychology, and I am currently earning my Masters Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. I am currently part of the Children and Adolescent Program which is preparing me to work with a variety of child and youth populations across different settings, including health, mental health, child maltreatment, and schools. I have experience with toddlers, children and teens in home environments and school-based programs.
I aim to create a warm and supportive connection with children to provide them with a safe and comfortable space to express themselves. I have experience using play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I’m particularly interested in exploring attachment theory and its impact on child development. I am eager to further my learning and experience at FSCS!
