THE PATERSON FULL SERVICE COMMUNITY SCHOOL HEALTH CENTERS
ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNS FOR THE FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS:
We are looking for students who want to make a difference in their community by interning at one of our Full Service Community School Health Centers in Paterson. As well as assisting the CEO with interactions and meetings with the National Alliance of School Based Health and NJ Legislators, Congress and Dept of Health, daily activities will include:

Assisting the Treatment Coordinator with Pediatric, Dental, Optical and Mental Health Services in the school during the school day.

Helping with Community Outreach
-
Attending our multidisciplinary meetings and Treatment Coordinators meetings

Assisting our Social Work/Behavioral Health Staff
Our internship opportunities are at either elementary, middle, or high school levels. In this position, you will also build connections with students and their families, working as a go-to person for community resources, and medical and mental health needs.
We believe this is the perfect opportunity for students who are passionate about helping others, enjoy working with kids, and want to be involved with New Jersey Public Health in underserved, impoverished communities.
Being organized and personable is an asset, and someone who is bilingual in Spanish or Bengali is preferred.
