Emma Wu
PS School 22
My name is Emma, and I am a graduate student pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at New York University. I have an extensive passion for mental health and showing up for others. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, empathy, respect, and empowerment perspective.
As someone with a multicultural background, I value the importance of understanding each student's unique experiences and identity. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where students feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate challenges and recognize their unique strengths.
I look forward to supporting our students and families while learning and growing alongside the FSCS team!

Alisson Rodrigues
Mahatma K. Gandhi School, PS #23
Hello! My name is Alisson Rodrigues. I have an undergraduate degree from Kean University in Psychology, and I am currently earning my Masters Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. I am currently part of the Children and Adolescent Program which is preparing me to work with a variety of child and youth populations across different settings, including health, mental health, child maltreatment, and schools. I have experience with toddlers, children and teens in home environments and school-based programs.
I aim to create a warm and supportive connection with children to provide them with a safe and comfortable space to express themselves. I have experience using play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I’m particularly interested in exploring attachment theory and its impact on child development. I am eager to further my learning and experience at FSCS!
